TESTIMONIALS

I have had the privilege of working with Miss Elyssa both as a professional colleague, and as a parent. She is exactly the type of professional you want working with your child; loving, sincere, kind, engaging, energetic, and fun! My daughter was struggling with some of her speech sounds. Since I’ve had the opportunity to work with Elyssa as a colleague, she was my top choice for my own child. My daughter loved her speech sessions with Miss Elyssa, and I loved that my daughter loved her sessions :) I loved that Miss Elyssa modeled and communicated what she was teaching throughout my daughter’s session so I was able to continue practicing speech sounds with her even after the session was over. Thanks for all of your help, Miss Elyssa!!

Elyssa was such an integral part of our son’s educational success. Our son is a bilingual Russian speaker and had speech problems, so she provided speech services at our home. Thankfully we came across Elyssa who was patient, caring, and truly dedicated to her work. With her assistance, our son has been able to gain understanding, knowledge, confidence, and tools to allow him to become a successful reader with clear and concise speech. I would highly recommend Elyssa to anyone looking to help their child in speech development.

As a neuromuscular therapist, I often refer my clients to Elyssa to learn fun speech therapy exercises. I love how skillfully she can work in person and on a virtual platform such as Zoom. She loves what she does and the kids feel that and enjoy her activities as a result. I have collaborated with her to help families I work with implement some of her visual speech therapy tools and to weave her speech therapy activities into my lessons so the kids improve more quickly.

Elyssa was an important piece to my son’s speech journey. He was diagnosed with Apraxia and didn’t say his first word until 3 ½. We started seeing Elyssa before his 4th birthday. First it was on zoom and then we were able to start coming in person which was great. My son has some behavior issues, but Elyssa always remained kind and loving yet firm enough so he would follow her instructions. She would give updates each session on what they worked on and how he’s progressing. She is very knowledgeable in her field and would provide us with instructions on how we can continue helping him work on his speech at home. He has come so far and now does not show signs of Apraxia anymore. Today he just loves to ramble on and on. I am grateful to have had Elyssa be a part of his early development in speech. She was part of our village that we will never forget.
