Elyssa was an important piece to my son’s speech journey. He was diagnosed with Apraxia and didn’t say his first word until 3 ½. We started seeing Elyssa before his 4th birthday. First it was on zoom and then we were able to start coming in person which was great. My son has some behavior issues, but Elyssa always remained kind and loving yet firm enough so he would follow her instructions. She would give updates each session on what they worked on and how he’s progressing. She is very knowledgeable in her field and would provide us with instructions on how we can continue helping him work on his speech at home.
